Lucky you! We hope to race at Chimay next year. Have been spectating / marshalling for the last 5 years there and used to go to Jehonville when that was run.

we raced there for several years, last time was 2004
(Chimay, Jehonvillen mettet, Gedinnne).
We raced with a Windle Imp and before with a Norton.
But the frame for the Imp was to old and not good anymore after a crash at Gedinne, so my husband built a new one.
Hope to see you next year at Chimay

I can hear Dejan thinking "Hillman"? The Imp engine was unlike any other Rootes* product. It was actually a modified Coventry Climax engine which conveniently fitted the rear engine designed car. De-tuning was performed on the engine to keep the Imp within affordable insurance boundaries. This is why it is ideal for racing as it was originally built for that purpose.
* The Rootes group produced such vehicles as Hillman, Sunbeam, Humber and Commer & Karrier commercials until they were eventually taken over by Chrysler Corporation.

Re: "new imp"
Nice looking outfit, never seen one running with the carbs at the front of the motor and right hand chain drive? Good luck with your racing.
