What hapoened to all the TZ 500-700-750 Engines

Where did all the Yam TZ 4cyl engines go?? l don't need one but just thought--in late 70's and though the 80's nearly ALL outfits in top classes used them

Re: "new imp"

Nice looking outfit, never seen one running with the carbs at the front of the motor and right hand chain drive? Good luck with your racing.

Re: Nick & Gerry Boret

Dave, the 4" tube twisted where it joined the main frame, If I recall correctly (1974 remember) John Renwick had the broken unit back and may have given Dave Bexley a replacement. Let me know what you find when you get the unit back.
Cheers Malcolm

Re: Nick & Gerry Boret

The Renwick that Dave Bexley had a Honda motor fitted in broke in haft at the 1974 TT. It broke were the 4" sidecar spine tube joins the main frame. I think this was probably due to the weight of the Honda engine and the fact that it was only mounted on the alloy tray with no other fixings. Dav...

Re: Front wheel drive BSA

Remember seeing an A65 outfit with front well drive at the 1974 TT, I don't think it finished though, but must be in the competitors list for that year?
Wonder if it is still around, seemed to be good engineering for those days
