Sidecars at 2015 Southern 100 International Road Races
Having received numerous phone calls and ill-informed messages appearing on various social media websites regarding the change in the regulations for the Sidecar Classes at the 2015 Southern 100 International Road Races, the organisers, Southern 100 Racing wish to reiterate that the change from Sidecar F2 TT machines to Sidecar F2 machines that conform to ACU Regulations have been forced on the club by the Road Race Committee of the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) the governing body of all motorcycle sport in the British Isles.
The organising club, had requested that the Sidecar classes remain the same as in recent years, but this was rejected the road race committee insisting that only the TT Races should run with tuned engines.
Southern 100 Racing anticipates that the high quality and quantity of Sidecar entries at this year’s Isle of Man Steam Packet Southern 100 Diamond Jubilee International Road Races will be as in previous years.

Good old ACUseless, yet again they seem to be trying to make things awkward for the Southern club. I don't think they really like them being a successful club.
