Neil Smiths Ducati outfit

i have bought neil smiths old ducati outfit, and will be putting it on the road.(in worcester) i am trying to find 13" low profile tyres. can anybody help?

Lives not too far from Mablethorpe I think and used to beach race a solo there. Had a chat with him at the Manx last year (2014), where he was campaigning a solo, so they could help you with some contact details, maybe.

Would this be eligible for the new PI class? Or is this the one that was injected but was forced to remove the injection? or have I imagined that? (Tim ?)

The Ducati Neil had in (851cc?) was manufactured and built to run with injection; but before he was able to race the bike competitively in the F2 class, a rule was passed that the big twin cylinder fourstrokes in F2 had to run with carburettors (this was before TT 1993 - obviously all the four cylinder 600 fourstrokes were carbed back then). With little time available to prepare and test the Ducati on carburettors, the performance was poor. (Neil is an excellent engineer, and had been on the podium at the TT on a TZ350 in 1990 and 1991). Shortly after, twin cylinder fourstrokes of all types were no longer eligible in the F2 class.

To answer the question, I understand that the FSRA class allows any machine running carburettors to compete, so yes, in this trim, I don't see why it would not be allowed; but whether it would be competitive (or cost-effective to get it competitive), is another matter.
