I wonder what temp that got up to. I remember a qualifying session at Assen where we came in with an overheating engine and I could hear the oil bubbling like a chip pan. It didn't do that though

The dash flashed the words "HI TEMP" right before it signed off, never to start again. The coils overheated and split too.
Luckily it was on the cool down lap at race end. But it did rob us of our first checkered flag victory lap :roll:

I thought it wasn't a good sign when we were stood around your bike 15 minutes after the race, watching plastic and rubber bits still melting off the outside. :shock:
