Deadline for the TT Newcomers weekend is LOOOOOming.....
OK... I still have a number of people who said they wanted to do the newcomers weekend on 2/3 November, who have not completed a form and sent it to me. See Steve's Place for the form. CLOSING DATE 20th OCTOBER... No late entries!

Happiness is three-wheeled.

Just a mention to say if you are bringing someone with you, who is not going to be entering the TT, you will have to pay for their travel and accommodation. They will not be able to go out with you on the laps as space is limited.
I'm sure I don't need to say it... but just in case... these weekends are serious attempts to help newcomers learn as much as possible before entering the TT (and relative newcomers look for advice on improving their times, too). They are NOT holiday weekends. Should anyone abuse this, it may be noted by the organisers and future dealings with them may be affected.. at the very least, you may be asked to pay the costs incurred.
..having said all that... they are always good craic, and on the Saturday night, we meet up at the Manor in Douglas (near the TT Grandstand), where local sidecar people... many experienced TT competitors, will join us for a drink or two. Lots of experience and tips for the TT are exchanged, and usually some kind of entertainment is offered.
However this year I will NOT be having my hair cut off, and I hope Heath isn't having his back waxed... that was horrific!
