First timers! Are you nervous? Or is it just pure excitement? In my line of competitive sport, nerves were a good thing! It shows you're ready for a battle but have respect for the opponent, in this case, the course! :notworthy:

Too right... if anyone comes here and isn't nervous, they're probably at the wrong place.. it's scary... but fun.

nervous the first time we lined up at the start i had too sit on the bike and hold my knee's together cos they were shaking that much,if you're not nervous you're the only one cos everyone is! treat it with respectthe place deserve's it and when you come in the paddock afterward's you know you have rode the finest circuit in the world.

An nervous every time I race always whether its track day or race day or TT then as soon as I put my helmet on as the sayin goes when the flag drops the bulls**t stops this will be my 5th TT and still a month before I can't sleep with excitement :)

You wouldnt be normal if you werent nervous for the TT but its a nice kind of nervous. Fifth TT Karl ? We won on our 5th visit lol. Best of luck mate just enjoy it. :D

No need to be nervous of racing at the TT, its crashing there that you need to be nervous about!

And crashing doesnt realy hurt Howard Its stopping quickly. ;)
