Most successful TT passenger?

Unread post by steve-e »

In an article we have posted on the site, probably the start numbers one I've not looked.. it says that Dan Sayle is the most successful passenger with 7 wins.

I've just had a guy called Rick Long contact me and say he thinks his 8 might beat that 8-)

update: TT database says Rick has 6 (thanks TimL) , I've emailed Rick to find out more..

The official IOM TT database has Rick with 6 wins, and Dan with 7.

Although, Rob Fisher's passenger in 2002 is listed as Nick Long. I guess this is where the problem is, official database is wrong.

Reply from Rick
The years are 97 'B' race. 99 'B' race. 2000 both races. 2002 both races. Those 6 with Rob Fisher. Rob was 1st driver to get 10 wins. 2007 centenary year, both races with Moly. Hope that's useful Steve. Thanks again mate..

So the question now is how long will it take Dan to get to 9 ? 8-) I'm sure he will, as I expect he does (and Tim hopes he does this year) :D
If Dave has a good race and anyone beats him that will be something they can be very proud of.
