Can somebody tell me if signatures from Mid April this year will still count for 2014.
Thanks

I also have concerns with the recent changes to the signature collection rules for the MCL. I wrote several emails to IOM and ACU but never got a response. We are targeting the 2015 TT but under the current rules the only way to qualify for an MCL would be to ship our outfit early to the UK (from Canada) and make arrangements to attempt to gain 2 signatures at a race in May in the the UK. The planning and expense of getting to the TT (above and beyond what most competitors have to deal with: shipping to/from Canada, crating, customs, renting/borrowing race transportation & paddock accommodations, cost of airfare from Canada, costs of attending new comer orientation) is enough of an obstacle without the added risk of doing all that only to have something go wrong (minor mechanical issue, another competitor clips you, etc.) and fail to qualify for our MCLs.

I'm hoping exceptions can be made in extraordinary situations (like there is too much snow on our circuits so no races are held until mid-May or later). If organizers are concerned about a team's preparedness to race early in the season surely the team's previous performance could be considered: finished every race we have entered (over 2.5 seasons)
