Front axle 94 LCR
Why would the front axle go inwards to the hub? Looked at the front wheel nut after the weekends racing the R clip is all bent, wheel loose & the nut has tried to screw itself off. Pulled it apart, looked at it, re-assembled, but the R clip wont go back in. Very odd!

The axel goes into a "nut" on the inside (left) and is hollow so can screw in. It is held in place with a roll pin!
I had this happen at the Island in 2005! very easy to fix
Regards Mick

Yep, roll pin sheared off! Bearing also a bit dodgy, so hope I can get one tomorrow!
Anyone got a part number for the dual row bearing in the front hub?

I think the part numbers are 1 x S253 545312A and the inner Fag(?) 52989ic E.B
I do remember that if you bought the double one as a kit (it came with a nut I think it was off a BMW or VW) it was about half the price of just the loose bearing.
