TT Regs

Unread post by Adrianvfr400 »

Taken me nearly a week to work out how to fill in entry for tt!! What a nightmare, thanks to Sophie in the office who had to guide a total 'computer illiterate' through it all, its easier doing a lap of the TT!! :o

I had a bit of a struggle filling in the entry for a sidecar team too. The "link up" between driver and passenger details are the most awkward part of it all. Seems very long-winded and unnecessarily complicated.

Also, I set up new "profiles" for both driver and passenger, even though they appeared on the system, the original passwords etc had been lost over the course of the two or three years since they last entered the TT. All went well, and I had submitted all of the required information. However, the next day this was all lost, as the admin at iomtt.com saw fit to delete the new profiles and reset the passwords on the original ones, meaning I had to take another hour and a half re-submitting all of the new information. Surely they could have deleted the old, redundant profiles, as the information was no longer correct in them ? I am not alone in having these problems, having received a number of calls and p.m.'s from other competitors asking for advice and venting their frustration of the whole entry process.

So, if only "Online Entries" are being accepted, what happens if you do not own or know how to operate a computer ?

Someone said the same to me on Monday. The comment was, 'Can't I just ring and say I'm coming'! :D

And while you're all spending time on your online entry you're not working on your new oil containment, lol!
