French course de cote - Hill Climbs

Unread post by Bob B »

Compared with the UK there is little circuit racing here throughout the season but the lack is made up by their passion for hill climbs instead.

This a a video courtesy of Chris Video of one such event in Brittany, the music is traditional Breton pipes. Enjoy:

Sorry Peter but it has just been run this year. There are many course de cote throughout the season in which not only the hill climbers compete but also the circuit boys as well - you probably noticed the 'green snake' F1, that's driven by the current French F1 champion!

Fanch can probably supply more details of dates etc ;)

Might not have to travel too far Peter as they are very popular in Brittany & Normandy. There is also one about thirty minutes from us at Hautefage which is always well supported.
