Dad, The Trundly, and that damned little machine..
(not sure why trundly's got a wheel off, don't remember that bit oddly).

But the Trundly got to France! And not at 8mpg like it did Donington when I put the venturi thing in the carb the wrong way up and had to change the plugs 4 times on the way home

Ray always wanted to go abroad to race, and at least he did do that.

Dont think it was just a trundly wheel , we always took two tyres , as we always seemed to get punctures and the tyre would also fit the trailer.nothing wrong with the womble curtains l made them.

I honestly don't think I couldn't have achieved my ambition of racing abroad if it weren't for Ray's help, support, and encouragement - and the rest of you lot too! Ray really did become my 'racing Dad' after Tom had his stroke!!!! Nothing was too much trouble for him to help me sort out, yeah it helped that Steve was riding with me - but i know he would have helped at that time whatever, and did after! Still miss him too!mum e wrote:Ray always wanted to go abroad to race, and at least he did do that.
Do you Remember going to Assen for first Euro in 95 in convoy! - Having to stop for sleep in Belgium Service station

and l think that the boys would still help if you needed anything, especially if Graham could make it.
he has just made a lovely engine/bike lift which is hydraulic.for Le Mans as he hopes to do that again, and hopefully finish this time.
