Pete & Ron Hardy, they had a very rapid Imp outfit in the early 70's, gave Currie & Vincent a good run. I did hear that Pete had passed away a few years ago????

Yes Ian very rapid pair, nice guys and British Camps too. You’re right about Pete, we lost him following a crash at Laurel Bank in the 70's ??? Ron is still around, I believe Mr Applegate sees him occasionally.

l remember we went to aintree in 1973 and went out for the heat with them, we lead the heat till the last lap then they passed us like we were standing still. Chatting with them after the heat and they were sound blokes. Went out in the final and the chain snapped on the line so that was it for us.
