We are thrilled to announce that the British Sidecar Racing 2026 series has secured a headline sponsor! Marin, a long-time supporter of global sidecar racing for the past ten years, is committed to growing the sport.

Key Highlights:

· Growth in Participation: Thanks to Marin's support, the Scottish SSRC has seen a healthy increase in participation, with more sidecars attracted from across the UK and Europe. This growth is sanctioned by the SACU and has led to a vibrant racing grid, much is planned for 2026.

· Additional support

2025 saw the revival of the Celtic match races and beyond, the Scottish Sidecar festival, and many teams who embrace the value of subsidised entries benefited.

· Boris’s Insights: “Marin has taken a step back at the end of the season to evaluate how we can best assist teams in keeping our sport vibrant and alive in the British Series. It needs to be cost affordable for the teams, and with practical thinking, the new engine regulations reflect this vision by ensuring cost-effectiveness for all teams.”

· Looking Ahead: We are proud to have Boris and Marin as our headline sponsor and are excited about the fantastic racing we anticipate for the 2026 season. This strengthens our commitment to keep sidecar racing alive , further discussions are ongoing with other organizations to explore additional support for all other competitors racing the world's.
