CRMC and Camathias Cup at Cadwell Park - 7 Races

Unread post by steve reilly »

Hi All,
The CRMC event at Cadwell Park is hosting THREE Camathias Cup Sidecar Races as well as FOUR CRMC Sidecar Races, its gong to be a great 3 day event. So you can apply to race in all SEVEN races :D if you want to but of course Camathias Cup crews get first go at the Camathias Races and CRMC crews get first go at the CRMC Races. If you are in contact with crews who would be interested but don't do computers please let them know we don't want anyone to miss out.
The entry fees are as follows but basically it works as the first 4 races are paid at the standard price and then every race after your fourth entry is £25 - That seems a good deal to me and should promote 7 good grids of Classic Sidecars. The entry form does not reflect this as the deal was sorted in the last couple of weeks so please fill in your form based on what you want to do and the detail below;
Note - Times are approximate and may change
Friday 3rd June
Joint CRMC/Camathias Cup practice around 11am
1st CRMC Race: Race 4 around 2pm
1st Camathias Cup race: Race 11 around 5pm
Saturday 4th June
1 lap sidecar test session for those with problems Friday around 9.15am
2nd CRMC Race : Race 16 around 10.30am
2nd Camathias Cup race: Race 21 around 1.30pm
3rd CRMC Race: Race 28 around 4.20pm
Sunday 5th June
1 lap Sidecar test session for those with problems Saturday around 9.15am
3rd Camathias Cup race: Race 38 around 12 noon
4th CRMC race: Race 41 around 2pm
Camathias Cup Entry Fees:
Camathias Cup crews £50 each Cam Cup race
Camathias Cup crews £45 for 1st CRMC race entered
Camathias Cup crews £25 2nd – 4th CRMC races entered

That will be a relief to some of the other competitors Eddie  . Can't Mogli knock you some up, I thought he was good at making things ;)

Mowgli is Ace !! It's a pity there are not more young people interested in Engineering, instead of sitting in front of a screen whenever they can.

Totally agree with you Eddy  . We could do with a few more of the younger, and even the older, end with his abilities, enthusiasm, commitment and temperament in sidecar racing :notworthy: ............not to mention hair ;)

I wish him nothing but success with his business venture :trophy:

Oi you, why are you picking on Ed and me without even mentioning Dick, who was the first one to go off topic when he mentioned Croix and Hengelo*?
Broodily young upstart :twak: ......... I mean you, not Dick

Why do you need to know how many laps you get, you only have to sit there and let the driver do all the work

But just for you Vicky, and because I am that sort of a bloke, I looked up the regs for the meeting and according to them you are scheduled to get:

CRMC - 4 x 6 lap races
Camathius Cup - 2 x 6 lap races

Do you think a delicate young thing like you will be able to manage all that Vic? ;)

(*Ok, Croix and Hengelo are both Camathius Cup meetings but they are not Cadwell so Dick was half off topic ;) . Excuse me while I search for other straws to grasp  )
