Re: DONT FORGET TO DRAIN WATER IMPORTANT
We did a meeting in our winter series where it was -5 when we arrived at the track
Doing an oil change after it, I started it up and ran it for a bit and noticed the water level was down so tipped some more it which dissapeared, shut it down and checked the oil which was milky
Plugs in the head of the GSXR had blown and dumped all the water down the cam tunnel into the sump
One engine strip, new radiator and about $1000NZD, I think next time I'll be draining it between meeetings

Graham's doing well, still recovering. Not back at work or driving yet but nearly ready.
Just started rebuilding the BMW as it was but road legal - should be a quick road bike! He did 121.6mph lap on it at TT, will be a beast on the road. He's still got the rest of the bike collection. I think when he's ready he'll probably start racing on the R6 again, he enjoyed that - but it won't be for a while yet.
