It was Dan Hegarty, and he was kept overnight, but as far as I know he's out now. Dean Harrison fell off earlier and trashed the bike! He's ok.

After they did it again tonight (Wed) I did the same as you Daph.Welsh Daph wrote:I've done as you said Brucetold them how disappointed I was, I wonder if I'll get a reply

Why, when broadcasting from the Southern 100 is scheduled to start at 6pm and they go there and are broadcasting from there, do they return to the studio to play records while the sidecars are out on qualifying (not just practice) laps and then return to the circuit as soon as the sidecars have finished, and not even mention them to make matters worse

The sidecars only got 1 full lap, plus the dummy grid started one, and it was untimed.

they would be tuned into the FM channel or a different station.
Here what you are saying but our contract is to provide race commentary only - hence the coverage you are unhappy with.
Rest assured the Sidecar race coverage will be in full - we love the sidecars!
Cheers,
Tim
Perhaps if they explained this we might not have been as upset but it still seemed they had time to interview solo riders to fill in before any racing if I understand correctly what Daph wrote in an earlier post. Oh well, at least we did get last night's race and I got a prompt response to my email, did you Daph?
