2015 FSRA F350/Post Classic & pre-injection Sidecar Championship
Round 2 Mallory Park 16th May 2015
Much better I am getting happier, four F350/ Post Classics and three pre-injection helped make up a near full grid of sidecars for EMRA ‘s clubs third round championship. Talent ranging from the world champion to first time novices with two ten lap races and good clean racing. The F350/Post Classic numbers are bolstered by Ed Taylor Ian Brekell GS1100 Suzuki and Tony Wheatley Adam Nix Ireson TZ750. The pre-injection class was joined by John Chandler Daryl Gibson Shellbourne R6 and Marianne Walford Kerry Hughes Baker Yamaha 600.
Race One
Was stopped after two laps due to Marianne Walford Kerry Hughes Baker Yamaha 600 visiting the gravel trap just after Devil’s Elbow no one hurt but they did miss the restart. Joe Heys Mark Maier Banshee 350 chased by Chandler Gibson until their R6 let a conrod go going into Gerard’s same lap Wheatley’s TZ number four pot seizes going into the hairpin. Heys carries on taking the win with Pete Millington Nick Roberts Ireson 600 Yamaha second. 0.01 second behind was Taylors GS1100 taking third and Tibbles Edwards Yamaha FJ1100 taking fourth.
Race Two
Marianne Walford Kerry Hughes Baker Yamaha are back on the grid but Joe Heys Mark Maier Banshee 350 takes the win but this time Ed Taylor Ian Brekell GS1100 Suzuki takes second by the same margin he lost to in race one 0.01 second from third Pete Millington Roberts pre-injection 600. Tibbles Edwards Yamaha FJ1100 take fourth and Marianne Hughes pre-injection Yamaha 600 fifth.
This was the second round four more to go I hope the interest carries on improving thanks to EMRA.
