We have been contacted via the Bemsee office by Sarah, daughter of Barry Forderer.
Barry just recently passed away after a long battle with cancer.
The funeral is to be held on 12th September at 4.30pm at the West Suffolk Crematorium, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. (Full address is Risby, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP28 6RR). She has said that its casual clothing, no one needs to get suited up.

I used to be Barry's passenger for several years but lost touch with him.........I was very sorry to hear about his passing.

Thanks so much for your lovely email. I have great memories being trackside and in the paddocks and especially the day I jumped on the back with you for a spin up to the starting area at brands...dad never did seem to know where the breaks were

They certainly didn't work on wet grass as he (we) found out at Pembrey July 1991........and we still came away with two trophies, having glued the outfit back together.
