The French weekly motorcycle magazine "Moto Journal" just announced this week :
a French TT will be held around Paris, on the Parisian Orbital, Le Périphérique (nicknamed "Périph").
The Paris Town Hall and the IOM TT Organizers would have signed an agreement to organize such an event during Summer, when the traffic is very low because of holidays. 3 days during August. During such periods, Le Périphérique is closed to the traffic because of maintenance.
The Clerk of the Course will have the possibility to use the surveillance cameras and the speed cameras would indicate the speed of the racers all over the course.
The paddock will be at La Porte Maillot, on the west part.
The announcement will be done in May, during the IOM TT.
On the picture, three from the best drivers of the IOM TT were, anonymously, making a lap early on Sunday the 16th of March morning.
The panels under the bridge would be 326 to indicate a live-timing.
We are very impatient to applaud this first French TT.
Come numerous.
