newcomers weekend, another success

Thank you to Helen and everyone else who put the newcomers weekend together.
I had the chance to drive a car round while Pete Alton explained the way round to both passengers and drivers, what an enlightening experience. if you're ever thinking of going to do the TT don't think of this as just a wasted weekend and a night in the manor. The experience that I heard passed on, and heard similar from others with the other mentors make this something unmissable.
I must add that I think the cars worked much better than the minibus setup. Much less distractions and the chance to go back and take another look at things people weren't sure about was very useful.
