Yet Cummins was allowed a start?

My "prima donnas" statement wasn't aimed at guy it was plural and a quote of Ollie Linsdell who interviewed on the radio wasn't impressed with the paid TT stars coming over and ignoring the mgp regs and briefing times, ignoring the rules to the point that a few have had to be relaxed to get them out there.

So you will see bikes with oversize fuel tanks (i was told by one competitor last night someone had turned up with a 33ltr tank when the limit is 24 - they didn't say who), more modern engines, classic TT 'stars' going out in the wrong session and THEN complaining loudly about traffic and slower riders. You're in their session through your own choice and asked to be there put up with it.

That is prima Donna behaviour and obviously was not Guy as he didn't get out at all. When all this is going on in the paddock it was probably the wrong time to turn up days late.

No one is bigger than the 'game' and the rules should be the same for us all. You cant win on talent if the 'prima donna' at the front of the grid is cheating!!!
Worked all week, it's time to play gonna get a little bit sideways!!!!

Guy Martin is very fast and makes good tv and I think maybe his future is in that direction.

Hmmmmm! Thought Ollie Linsdell races the TT and a regular at the British rounds ??? Hardly a clubman , also has very good sponsorship, a damn sight more than others, daft statement

Nothing against Guy Martin,talented fellow.
May I piont out though, what the hell is a prototype anything doing in a classic race?
Thought classic races were for bikes of a type raced in period.Moto GP is where prototypes belong.

You mean like a classic bike having a 1200 bandit engine in it? I think my idea of 'classic' is getting outdated now :) When the CRMC club started taking sidecars the limit was at about 72 for four strokes and it was about 81 that I started in the commentary box with Allan Robinson. By that reckoning most of what I own now is classic (not bikes, just everything :D )
