Too much play in my rear hub so I'm attempting to find the bearings for the first time. According to the manual, oh wait, there isn't one
I have a 2010 MRE with a single sided swing arm. I have removed the rear wheel, chain, both calipers, the little keyway allen on the axle, the axle, the 3 small allen head bolts on the outside of the disc carrier. Now what?
Mike is probably going to come along in a moment and PM me but just in case he's not online at the moment any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Ok Mike PM'd me the size of the bearings but no hints on how to get at them. Still need some help. Does the silver plate in the center of the disc carrier (that the axle threaded into) screw out or get pryed out somehow? Do you gently pry the inside of the disc carrier against the inside of the sprocket carrier (using some wood blocks to take up the space between)? Did a miss a step in the diss-assembly (like I was supposed to leave the axle pinned into the plate and unscrew the plate using the axle or something)?
Hub is probably just a bit gunked up and resisting coming apart but I don't want to risk damaging anything getting it apart. This is a little urgent as I need to source replacement bearings, have them installed and get the sidecar back in the trailer by this Sunday!
