Brake Pads.

Unread post by Whites »

Hello,

On the front of out F2 we have 2x AP Racing CP3386 calipers, I am struggling to find some racing pads for these calipers, I wonder if anyone knows which ones to get and where to get them?

We currently have some ferodo pads in, FRP410CP211. These work very well, however they are almost in need of replacement and need to find some pads which perform similarly.

I don't think ferodo make these pads anymore, the closest I can find is these. They seem to use the Platinum compound, not the CP1 (which replaces the CP211 I believe).

I can also find these. Does the RQ3 perform similar to the CP211?

I can only find EBC black pads for this caliper.

For SBS I assume I can use either 611 or 599 version. RS pads, carbon?

The discs I am using appear to be stainless steel, although a magnet does stick to them. Here is a picture of one of the spare discs.

Hopefully somebody can help.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply Dave.

They are the same ones that I found, and I am struggling to find out if the RQ3 friction material is similar in performance to the CP211 ferodo pads.

I origionally had some EBC black pads in there. FA107A I think the reference is. The difference between these and the ferodo pads was drastic, so I am hoping to find some that perform similar to the ferodo ones.
