Eligible? Of course it's not................... Some one said (dont know who) "Konigs will race over my dead body." It has been built for the fun European scene....................

They weren't built that good in those day's.Perhaps you could let Dick have a go and if he's any good on it ban him because it's a new chassis.

According to the Classic club cut off dates ie two stroke 1967 it is allowed, however it was refused
cos the eligibility officer thought it would be unpopular with some of the crews.I understand and
accept his decision

It cannot be raced in the Classic club meetings but any other meetings run under Classic Club rules
have to accept it, cos it complies with their rules [ lets see how quick they can change them ]

We race for fun and although we could easily apply to have it designated period 4, why bother when
we are welcome in 5 other countries and the Forgotten Era Club. Besides I spectate at all the
Classic Club meetings and enjoy fantastic racing every time....Well done Ian

I raced a Konig in 1975 and beat Dave Saville on it at Cadwell Park in a National event
However I did more miles pushing it than riding it during the season. Avon were giving sponsorship
to some crews but I tried 'Hush Puppies'

I also won a hydroplane race on Frank Priors' Konig at Lydd the same year.
They seemed to prefer cold water .....I wonder why ?
