This weekend and 23/24 Feb

This weekend we have had 16 newcomers... yes 16... for the 2013 Sidecar TT, at the first 2013 TT newcomers weekend.

These weekends comprise lots of laps, initially in minibuses and later in cars, to familiarise potential competitors with the geography, and some of the quirks, of the TT Mountain Course.

For their first such visit, newcomers can have their travel paid, and the TT Motorsport team offer us great support in the form of the TT Press Centre, minibuses, and catering... many, many thanks for that.

Already 4/5 people have booked for the next course on 23/24 February 2013, and I am happy to hear from anyone who thinks they may qualify.

I understand several of this weekend's participants are booking their flights / sailings to come back and do the next weekend too... and some old lags who have done a few of these...

Seriously, if you have already done a course, or competed in the TT, you are still welcome to come along (at your own travel expense :-( ), and repeat it, while sharing your experience with the new people.

I will still be able to offer you accommodation with friends here, and, of course you can use the minibuses and share the lunch. BOOK NOW, by email to helenbmerry@manx.net, whether you are a newcomer or a repeat offender!!!
Happiness is three-wheeled.
