Last chance saloon.....

Unread post by Helen Gibson »

Most of the newcomers that I know of are now booked for the last weekend this month, or have been to the previous one. If you still want to have your travel costs paid, have accomodation sorted and join in a helpful weekend of guided laps, get in touch at helenbmerry@manx.net.
1. If you have already been to the earlier one, you are very welcome to come to this one, too, although I can only help with accomodation, not travel... you still get a lovely lunch!
2. If you have raced here before but think a refresher would begood, plus the company of likeminded folks... same applies, contact me and I'll get you fixed up.
3. If you're coming across anyway, the weekend of 24,25,26 and have all your accomodation etc, why not join us for the Saturday and benefit from minibus laps with the likes of Dave Moly, Stu Castles etc?
By the way, if you have been across for a few laps, please let me know... all this extra "practice" and course-learning is good for the reputation of our sport, and I'd like to record it for future negotiations.
IMPORTANT: If you are lapping on our open roads, I can arrange for you to have driver who is not involved in any way... this is a serious safety offer. It is very easy to end up all over the road, forgetting you are driving amonst families shopping, old ladies on their weekly outing, farmers on their tractors etc, and it only takes seconds to end up in court, in Jurby, or worse... get a focussed driver and concentrate completely on the learning task.
Looking forward very much to seeing you all soon... I'm always amazed how many come, and also how many locally based people come to help. Thank you to all of you. :notworthy:
