Just out of interest, is there a 'gentlemans agreement' that when they go down the straights they keep to one side of the white line?

No, it's mainly due to the bumps. Years ago, before the road was resurfaced, it was virtually impossible to drive down the right hand side on the approach to the Iron Gate because the bumps were so bad. Some might say that the Billown circuit has lost some of its character now that it so smooth.
Going through the right kink and over the crest at Great Meadow on a TZ750 used to be one of the best feelings in racing. :notworthy:

No. ,and if that is the Championship race that year the two outfits in front are our Ian followed by me and Craig Hallam. The race finished in the order when the film ended. Yes those Thundercats were the best F2 engines ever, although Ian was on R6s by then. :D

People still talk about that race we had in 89(?) with you, Vic Jefford and Moly (until he broke down). Some reckon it was one of the best ever at the Southern (as well as being one of the few times we didn't have a front-row seat at one your crashes! ).
