That's the first time I have been round that circuit for thirty years (since the first CRMC meeting) and we were sent out on our own with no-one to follow but it appears to have been altered somewhat, so I was caught out a bit on a few corners, not least of all the left turn at the end of the straight (which used to be a right) and the alteration to Russells which found us running out of road on the exit. However we really enjoyed the hospitality suite where we were waited on and dined with the likes of Phil Read and Ron Chandler etc. Just a sad event which we all witnessed at the start of one of the solo races which put events back a couple of hours, I hope that the three riders involved will recover from what appeared to be quite serious injuries. Well done Grant and Ian for your third place, nice to see you if only briefly. Thanks to Daph (and John) for all your help ;)

So a modestly enjoyable weekend then RP ;) Presume GP was on with you? Would loved to have been there but given a choice of FoS or there it was a no contest!

Thanks RP we were thrilled to bits. Hard work but well worth it. The racing all weekend was excellent. Great to see you, sorry it was so brief. Wish you could have been given some more track time but never mind. All in all a top weekend and well done to everyone.

It was JP in the chair, Bob. He had been chatting to "some old bloke" in the hospitality who he had never heard of not realising that he was an eight times world champion......

Another enjoyable weekend. Congratulations to the Tapsells and the Chapmans - sterling stuff! S**t luck for the wife & father in law, Ian & kevin, Latherons and obviously worse still myself & Boon; but a massive THANK YOU to the real star of the paddock - Clive, without him we wouldn't even be out there and I would challenge anyone to find another rider who would give up their best ever grid position and loan their bike to someone else just so, as he says, ' put a smile on your faces'.......
