2026 World Championship update

Regarding the continuation of the 2026 FIM Sidecar World Championship, as announced in Assen last August, the FIM assures you that we will continue the championship without a promoter.
Negotiations are underway with various circuits, and the outlook is very promising for a balanced calendar that includes integration with top-tier international and national championships.
We plan to present a 7-round championship, and we can already confirm 3 rounds:
The season will start at Le Mans on April 17th and 18th, 2026, as a support race for the 24 Hours Motos during the famous Endurance round.
The BSB will host us on September 19th and 20th, 2026 in Assen (Netherlands).
The 2026 Championship final will take place on October 3rd and 4th, 2026 in Oschersleben (Germany).
We will announce the completer calendar later, once it is confirmed and agreed with our various partners.
Looking forward to seeing you at Le Mans soon,
Best regards,
