A unique chance to own a piece of history. The ex Pat Sheridan then George O Dell BSA is now for sale, this bike won an International first time Pat had entered it was fitted with the Devimead engine. Unfortunately Pat and his passenger Phil Smith were killed at Oulton Park in 1971, I was there as a child watching my Dad and Uncle compete in the same race and saw the accident.
George O Dell purchased the outfit from Pat’s widow and raced it making a few changes to it over the time he owned it. The changes are documented in his book, also there are some photos of him starting number 1 at the British GP at Silverstone.
A brief description is the engine and chassis have been fully rebuilt and is finished except for the bodywork needs spraying. A full description of the rebuild is available on request.
As an idea of what this is worth a classic 1996 replica outfit was in last months Classic Racer at £20k, this is the real deal and ready for parading.
PM me on Facebook for more details if seriously interested.
Thanks
Mike
