Could someone advise me on the ideal gloves to use as a passenger please.

it's very much personal choice and preference to be honest. Just be wary of ones with lots of armour on the knuckles as they can get stuck in handholds.

Nice one mate was thinking that too me dad said long as they are leather good grip and not too bulky
