Hertfordshire Fire Brigade can now relax,no more callouts to Ali's burnt offerings! She has now become a nightmare for the Lincolnshire Brigade :P :P :P She assures me that she fried herself an egg this morning and she managed not to burn it!! and saying she thinks it's because she's cooking on gas :run: :run: :run: [uglyhammer.gif]

Be happy in your new home Ali

Oh, Ali, my dear, it is very possible to burn using gas....so you may still be able to enjoy admiring the lovely Lincolnshire firefighting imps!

Hope you are very happy in your new home. x

Ey ooop peeps, I am enjoying my new home thank you 8-)

I cooked a mean chilli tonight, Daph 8-)

And Helen's right, I can burn cooking with gas . . . I forgot to put water in the steamer . . . wondered what the heck was burning  Added some water as soon as I realised and the steam emitted turned the cauliflower a delumtious shade of brown . . . burnt cauliflower is not a good taste :yuck:

:notworthy: Early days yet Helen, I've checked how long it will take the fire brigade to reach the house though ;) it's 1.3 miles away and will take 5 minutes by car,7minutes by bicycle and it's a 24 minute walk!
I think Ali's avoiding any food burning until she's found the box with the mugs in,so she can make a cuppa for all the firefighters

Oh, dear, you are a forward girl! I've lived over the wall from the Fire Station for about 9 years now, but I've never asked if I can practice on their pole :o

Won't you have to introduce yourself to all of them and see if there's a particular firemans pole you want to practice on? :D
