Have done the track day thing then got into racing few decent results but also a few bad crashes and broken bones
Fell out of love with 2. Wheels so have decided as I always fancied a go at 3 wheels to buy a f2 during winter in the intention to race it at emra and darly to start with maybe move to bemsee and so on year after
I have a million questions to ask you people as I no fooooooook all
Any one that is prepared to be bored shit less with a load of questions would be great help
Looking at buying a decent f2
What should I buy
What is the difference with a love
What make is better than other
How easy is it to get a passenger
How wide are they will it go in my jumbo transit
We're the cook do you get those mooosive tyres from
And how much are they
How often will I need new tyres
I really know nothing about em but have made my mind up to give it a go next season

Love supposed to be LCR

Buy a DMR, Baker, Shelbourne, LCR, Ireson, or a Windle. Choice is a matter or opinion, and you will get a lot of different opinions on here. Be careful who you listen to! Yes, it will go in a Transit. Passengers are hard to find. Good ones are even harder to find! Tyres are mainly Avons these days. Google Avon, call then and ask for Steve Smith. He will have all the info you need. As a newbie i would expect you will get away with something like 3 rears, 2 fronts and 2 sidecar tyres for about 8 meetings, assumimg youre not blinding fast straight away. And remeber...........every keyboard warrior has an opinion. Beware who you listen to! F2 wise, iv'e only had an LCR, but it was fine. Theres a lot of old s8it about, and a lot of people in the paddock who are less that honest so ask about and spend wisely! The good thing is........its a small world, and most of us know what's a shed and what isnt
