This is a pre emptive strike before back protectors become compulsory at the TT.
Having never worn one does anyone know which is the least obtrusive and most compact model ? I am hoping to find something that will fit my current leathers to avoid having to have another set made.

A simple home made one using 5mm dense foam and a belt will suffice, and be least obtrusive it will fit under your leathers without alteration.
It may not offer the same protection as a very expensive custom one, but it will be comfortable to use, this is what I use at Belgium meetings where they are compulsory and they check to see you are wearing it each time you go out.

Afraid it's not as simple as that Howard. For the TT they have to meet a particular standard. I've not got the email to hand but it states it in there.

I'll have a look in the morning.

Cheers
John
