Who's disk? 81 Fiddaman

Unread post by tintop »

Anyone know where the ventilated front rotor was sourced for the 81 Fiddaman? It used an automotive Lockheed caliper.

Well it's not a Granada rotor. They are 5 bolt from what I can find, and this is 6 bolt. Any other suggestions??

As far as I know it is a Granada rotor. Forget about the 5 bolt holes, that bit is cut off anyway. The Granada rotor needs to be machined to fit your outfit. The slots and holes in the rotor shown in Steve's pictures are not standard. Early LCR's also used Granada rotors. I used rotors from a Citroen CX on my outfits, the outer diameter was similar to the Granada rotor but on the inside there was a bit more "meat" to play with.

I think a few lads used ford transit discs to start with, then machined them to suit. hope that helps.
