JIM SWAIN R.I.P.

Following a stroke, Jim died peacefully tonight in hospital near his home in Florida.
I know Dad was in touch with a number of members of this site and loved to talk about bikes and engines with anyone who'd listen. He never lost his passion for racing and although he moved from 3 to 4 wheels and from the UK to the US, he still followed the British sidecar scene closely. He raced ("and was still winning!") single seaters until he was too old to continue and he stayed involved, setting up cars and mentoring young drivers, right up until his death.
He will be sadly missed
and never forgotten
