This needs to go on the front later..
Southern 100 Racing’s official broadcast partner, Manx Radio has
announced that the 2014 Steam Packet Southern 100 International Road
Races will now also be broadcast on the station’s AM1368 service.
Race commentaries will commence on Tuesday evening 8th July and
continue on Wednesday evening 9th July, plus all-day coverage on
Championship Day, Thursday 10th July.
The Manx Radio team will once again see Maurice Mawdsley situated on
the Start Line, described as ‘the best commentary point in the road-racing
world’ relaying the action, as he has been doing since 1988.
Roy Moore will be in his usual spot at Cross Four Ways and Chris Kinley
will be bringing the winners reactions from the Winner’s Enclosure, as well
as pre-race build-up.
All will be coordinated by Executive Producer, Tim Glover.
Full coverage will also be available On-Line and on the Radio Player and
also around the Billown Course on RSL - FM 87.9.
