Some clarification from a happy bunny...

I'd like to scotch some rumours which seem to have arisen regarding the new way of running the Sidecar TT Newcomers Weekends..
I have stepped back, and will now be free to enjoy your company and take part in the social stuff without any responsibility. This was entirely my idea and I have NOT been fired, squeezed out or in any other way pressured.
Sophie
has been a rock for me the last few years, and she was doing most of the work. I have asked the TT Team to take the whole thing back under their wing, as it used to be. I only got involved because, a few years ago, due to there not being enough people to do these things, the sidecar newcomers didn't get a weekend or whatever. They are still, in my personal view, underfunded and short-staffed, but they work long hours and do great things. I am a big fan of the TT Team.
I have had a ball doing the weekends, (from the original ones with the pots of soup, to the current ones with so many experienced people helping), but now I know you guys will not be forgotten or missed out, so I'm looking forward to just enjoying all of your company. I'm still here if anyone needs me, and there will still be accommodation here (and other people's houses), social events etc. There is no fallout, no scandal... sorry folks.. I'm happy and I thank Sophie (and Paul and Bruce) for all the help and encouragement I have had over the years.
