On ebay.

This is on ebay & I'd say it has come from Bill Curries estate.
I was at Bill's in the mid 90's getting some rockers off him & saw all this, plus a load more.
It was all in great condition back then. I assume a relative has got rid of this at an auto jumble or something & whoever bought it didn't understand the value or how to keep it from rusting. Look at those sad rockers & shafts, not worth a carrott now.

I would have thought that Bill's brother Les would have been better to sell it, he knows what he's talking about.

You all know who I am on this site & yes I think it is his son selling them , you all know that I was bills close friend & mechanic
for many years. I have been doing some contract work for Les & will be talking to him on Monday. It is very sad to think it all comes down to money.

it is sad Rob, but it does sometimes.
I've been laid off again and everything that seemed like a good idea last week doesn't seem so good now.

Hi Rob,
Its sad to see all those bits going rusty when they should be put to good use back on the track.
Are you doing Cholmondeley Pagaent of Power again this year? Geoff has had the old Norton Dominator engine rebuilt so hopefully we can get a bit more speed this year.
Hope to see you and Brian in June
Ian

If it is Bill's family selling the bits Rob, what else could they do with it but sell it? You can't keep part machined pushrods as a memento! The family have many items to remind them of Bill's long & illustrious career.
