"practice" weekends in the Isle of Man?

Obviously only any good if you're near these airports, and you would need to beg, borrow, hire or steal a car.

On the other hand, remember the discount crossings on the boat include your car, if this doesn't suit. (From £119 for car + two people)

If you are coming across to do some laps, outside of the organised weekends, please let me know. If you are a newcomer it could be your proof you have been (you need to have done some formal familiarisation to have your entry accepted), and if you are not, it all adds to the statistics for visitors, and looks good for sidecars, if I can quote numbers.
Happiness is three-wheeled.
