Seat Unit

Before I start dissecting my seat unit and then making amends with the glass and resin, can anyone offer advice or suggest an alternative......

I am 6ft tall and have an inside leg measurement of 33 inches.
Due to mounts, clearances etc, I can not move the seat unit from it's current location without loads of work.
As it is, I'm perched a good 4-5 inches above the actual seat.........I'm basically wedged in between the top of the seat unit and the front of the kneelers. Not a good place to be.

I'm considering cutting the kneelers off, moving them forward and out slightly, hopefully will allow me to sit in and not on the bike. Any thoughts or ideas.
Many thanks.

Unfortunatly loads of work is needed for you to get comfy in the bike if your not happy with the current position your in and you can't move the seat, then out comes the grinder glass and resin and cut away till your comfy. Most standard seat units don't suit everyone because everyone is different it took me months to get comfy in mine cutting bits out, adding bits in but when you get it right the difference is unreal hope this helps and happy glassing.
