Nice Lady.
Whos the nice lady in the Auto 66 office at Scarborough??? Phil after having his first run out on the F2 at the weekend rang to see if he could get an entry for Scarborough. It turns out that the entries closed last Friday ( a month before the event ). The nice lady said " Were full ,weve got 13 entries, were not taking anymore". Phil started to ask if there was a possibility of running heats , the nice lady said " Sorry I cant help you " and hung up.

Re: Nice Lady.
I've been on the end of that a couple of times Geoff.
I even spoke to a chap who has pulled his entry not 5 minutes before and still for the "no we are full" routine.
Do you think the 4 or so that don't qualify will get their money back? I doubt it.
However to be fair, I called a short while ago to ask for some tickets (not for me but for a good friend of all of ours) and she was lovely and said yes without hesitation.
Also, she's not a patch on the Merewolf on the bottom gate. She is horrible.
Maybe the tide effects her moods

The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.
But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.
