There was quite a bit of chat about it on TT forum, the majority seemed to thing it was a non starter - we can but hope though.

Don't get to excited the Mafia(sorry MHK's) will soon give it a broadside and send it to the depths of the Irish pond! :fsh:
The only way it will work is if they can hold a majority or all the shares and have first picks of the good seats. The linkspan was a prime example, extend the user agreement without any discussion and the Mezeron saga. Surely if you hire a boat off a company, what has it got to do with you if they are paying the crew less than minimum wage. Apparently that's why they had to stop using it, because the Mafia said it was not right.

Tim you'll have to explain that again in longer sentences and shorter words :D

To translate to our local terminology.. the local ringmasters will get the hump, do a racket on it and close it down without a wink?

TBH I wouldn't want to travel on a boat where the crew were paid less than minimum wage... for a number of reasons..

Well, that was allegedly... the last lot. this lot are very vague about everything... doesn't look too promising... rumour has it they would have to come from Bristol, as the current agreement says something about not starting in the Irish Sea... who knows. Only time will tell!

Bristol? That's a long way to go to get started :D Are they running freight yet? I could get on as a container :D

Bristol!!
That's a great idea.
It's just up the road to get on the boat and then a 24 hour cruise to get to the IOM. FANTASTIC. :D :D :D
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.

Found a website that calculate distance by sea from port to port. http://ports.com/sea-route/douglas-harb ... %20Bristol

It's 285nm from Bristol to Douglas. Would a ferry average about 20 knots? 12hrs travel time. How many people could you get in a 20ft container for 12hrs without suffocating?
