from a computer use the 'upload attachment' below the text box in the 'post reply'
click the browse button, find the pic and click 'add the file'. Once it's uploaded that changes to 'place inline'
press that and a line of code will appear in the text box
on a mobile the system should work (does on my iPhone) just the 'place inline' doesn't add any text but changes colour slightly. If the image is direct from a phone camera it might be too big to upload. The best/easiest way round that - as I bet you have the pic on facebook

is save it from that pic as facebook resizes pics when you put them on there.
Any pics already on facebook should be fine to save and upload here. If it's not on facebook then you can download free image resizers for iOS in the app store - handy for other sites too if you're posting lots of photos anywhere as they will upload quicker.

Speaking as a Novice driver could someone tell me what caused that to happen?

Mark,
As a driver you must understand that any problems are always caused by the passenger.
The only possible reason for racing a sidecar is that we can blame someone if it all goes wrong
otherwise we may as well race a solo.
