Give yourselves a pat on the back! All bar one sidecar crew got on the stage last night for their awards/replicas whereas 4 out of the top 10 in the superbike race didn't even show. Personally, I think that's out of order for the fans that are there and is disrespectful.

Not just there but stood at the side of the stage ready to collect the awards, helping things run along smoothly where quite a few of the solo teams seemed surprised when their names were called

A bit disappointed with no coverage on the radio but I guess after the press launch and the fruity language being used I can't say I'm surprised

Well done all those sidecar teams who once again turned up for their awards, the sidecar class has always seen a good turnout. And usually tuned out in their team gear!!

The crew who didn't collect their award were unable to do so because they'd been banished to the upper tier and not allowed into the main area downstairs. It seems that liggers and hangers on for some of the Superbike teams were more important than some competitors and also media with a valid job to do. The attitude of the security stank as well.
Well done to Aaron Galligan for grabbing the mic and speaking up about it.
The sidecar guys made the evening. Hardly any of the 'super'bike riders bothered to show up.
