Urgent if you're coming by ferry this TT
If your vehicle is longer than the category you have booked, you WILL be charged excess. For years people have got away with vans longer than stated in their booking form, but the IOMSPC staff are now measuring any which might be longer, and you will not get on the boat unless you pay the difference in price. Can't give you an example as I don't have the current rates for bigger vehicles to hand, but BE WARNED...Pete Alton had to pay up yesterday, and they were still measuring last night for the late boat.

ALSO... if your vehicle is bigger or different from what it said on your original entry form, or you have more vehicles, tents etc PLEASE let Lloyd Mister at G4S know as soon as possible. It's because people turn up with things they didn't mention on the booking form, that the paddock becomes a nightmare. If you turn up and half your space has been taken by someone else... that's THEIR fault, not his, so don't give him grief, please... he has an impossible job, and there's no excuse for making it worse.. lecture over!!
If a mate wants to camp in your space, bear in mind it is not actually allowed. If you have space and they behave, people have more urgent things to worry about, but, if you are encroaching on someone else's space and / or your guest(s) are impacting on other competitors, YOU will be held responsible... so be careful who you allow / invite to join you.

Who sorts out the situation if someone has nicked some of your patch? surely that's part of their job or do you have to sort it out in a gentlemanly way.

Speak to Lloyd in the first instance... up to him how it goes after that, I guess. This is what happens when people bring more than they booked and then selfishly help themselves to someone else's pitch... not right, eh?
