Hi, Not sure if this has been covered before but i was wondering what is the best position for a sidecar wheel? there must be some formula where to place the wheel, i have been looking closely at a couple of classic outfits and there are in different positions.

Cheers

Ged

Always used to reckon 9-10" lead on rear wheel with 1/8" to 1/4" toe in for starters on 16" wheels and 10/12" sidecar wheel. Undoubtedly more advice will be along shortly ;-)

Had a measure up today the one with the 59 wheelbase has a lead of 11.1/2" and the other one has a lead of 14" with a 57" wheelbase, both have 10" wheels with a 16" up front.
