Getting to the shop from the other side of the road could be quite fraught and the island in the middle of the road was needed. It's been a long time coming, so much so that it arrived shortly after the shop bought some land alongside the shop and made it into a car park, negating the need to cross the road.

We had to throw Wolfie out. The boys were acting strange when he wore that coat. They all started asking for wellies!
